Can I sue my contractors for doing bad work?

Question: My construction contractors did a horrible job and now the building on my downtown commercial property I was going to use for my business is not permitted by the city. Can I sue the contractors?

Response by Kevin Okamoto: If the contractors have wronged you by not living up to their end of the deal in a contract then there is a strong possibility that you have a case. You should consult with some construction defect lawyers in your area because a lawyer can counsel you on your rights based on the specifics of your situation.
